Big Bore Kits
Big Bore Kits are a good source of power and torque, but keep in mind that the bigger you go the less reliable your engine will be. On 2-stroke big bore kits the head and power valves must also be modified. When most big bore kits are installed in 4-stroke engines you may want to replace the camshaft and valve springs; have stock rocker arms hardened. And resleeving is necessary on some big bore kits. One thing to remember is that these big bore kits can become very costly.
